How To Fix a Paper Jam on the HP DeskJet 2600 All-in-One Printer Series?

If your HP DeskJet 2600 printer stops feeding pages while printing and the printer control panel displays an E4 with the resume light blinking, paper is jammed.
Remove any jams clear the error to resume printing. Check the input tray and the output tray, ink cartridge area and bottom of the printer and remove any jammed paper. Lift the input tray shield and shine a flashlight inside the area and remove any obstruction if found. Shine the flashlight outside the output tray, and remove any jammed paper, if found.

With the HP printer still on, disconnect all cables along with unplugging power cord from the main socket. You must disconnect the printer power cord from its power source to make sure to avoid any damage to the printer.
From the front, open ink cartridge door, slide cartridge all the way to the right, and all the way to the left, remove any obstruction if found. Put it back, close the ink door.
Access the bottom of the printer, push down the two tabs on the cleanout door to open it. Remove any jammed paper found. Push the door back to close it.

Plug back in the power cord, switch it on, raise the input tray, load the paper. Open the output tray, try to print a document. It will print this time.
