This entire process is going to delete all the information on your hard drive that is there at the moment so make you have a backup of all your files and folders and data.
Before we go ahead, you need to check what type of OS (operating system) you are using, 64 or 32 BIT.
Right click on “this PC”, go to properties at the bottom,
There you will find the information if your system is 64 bit or 32.
Now, go to the download section windows 10 on Microsoft website, download accordingly, once downloaded, run it. Once you have screen where it says, what you want to do?
Select “Create installation media for another PC”. Click next.
Select language (English), edition (windows 10 pro), and architecture (64 BIT), now click next again.
From this screen, “choose which media to use”, select USB flash drive and hit next.
Make sure your USB flash drive is connected.
Now click next to start windows 10 installation from the USB drive. Once completed 100%, click finish.
Now you need to change the boot sequence from the BIOS to be able to boot from the USB drive.
Now when you boot the PC, select F12 boot menu, now from the BIOS setup utility screen, under boot option, select removable device, save configuration and exit now by clicking yes.
Once you save those settings, computer will restart and it will boot from that USB drive.
From here, just follow the onscreen instruction advice like selecting time, language etc.options. Now click Install now.
Select custom install windows only advanced option. Now you will see “where do you want to install windows”?
Delete the existing drives, but make sure to take back of those, else you’ll end up losing your data.
Now you’ll see a single unallocated space, select it, click next.
You will see “Installing Windows” It will take a while.
Remember, it’s going to restart several times, so if its restarting do not worry. Also, if it prompts you to press any key, do NOT press any key. Let it continue.
If it asks you to enter the product key, click on skip or do it later.
Then, click on use express settings. Click on proceed.
You will now see a screen where it will ask you “who owns this PC”, click on I own it, and click next.
Skip the step where it asks you to put in Microsoft id and password.
Next screen, it will ask you to “create an account for this PC”, fill it or skip it as you like.
Click next, it will start setting things for you.
In a matter of 5 minutes, it will be completely setup and you will be able to use your PC.
